Resource Base Consultation - Bordesley Village Primary School

Consultation about establishing a Resource Base for children with autism at Bordesley Village Primary School

Cromwell Learning Community Multi Academy Trust, in partnership with Birmingham City Council, is proposing to establish a Resource Base for children with autism at Bordesley Village Primary School, Emmeline St, Birmingham B9 4NG. The provision would support up to 12 children in Reception-Year 6 with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) which specifies Resource Base provision.

The Resource Base would open in September 2027 for the first group of children admitted, then grow to be fully operational by September 2028.

The school would welcome your comments about this proposal.

The document available on this page provides more details about why this is being proposed. You can share your views by completing the short online questionnaire available here: Bordesley Village Primary School - Resource Base Consultation – Fill in form

The consultation ends at 12pm on Wednesday 22nd July 2026.

All responses to the consultation will be carefully considered by Bordesley Village Primary School and Cromwell Learning Community Multi-Academy Trust, before a decision is made about whether to apply to the Department for Education for permission to establish the Resource Base.
